A quick and easy fresh summer fruit and cheese board drizzled with honey, perfect for light entertaining or solo indulgence. Combines sweet, savory, and fresh flavors for a delightful seasonal snack.

Ingredients

  • Ripe peaches, sliced
  • Seedless grapes (red or green), washed and dried
  • Fresh figs, halved (optional)
  • Strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Blueberries or blackberries
  • Soft Brie or Camembert cheese
  • Goat cheese log, crumbled
  • Aged cheddar, sliced or cubed
  • Wildflower honey or clover honey for drizzling
  • Toasted nuts like pistachios or almonds (optional)
  • Fresh mint or basil leaves
  • Crackers or sliced baguette (choose sturdy varieties)

Instructions

  1. Rinse all fruit gently under cool water and pat dry. Slice peaches into thin wedges, halve figs and strawberries, and remove grapes from stems if preferred. Arrange berries in small clusters to keep the look natural and vibrant.
  2. Use a cheese knife to cut Brie or Camembert into wedges, crumble the goat cheese into bite-sized pieces, and slice cheddar into thin pieces or cubes. Arrange cheeses spaced out on the board for easy access.
  3. Place toasted nuts in small bowls or scatter lightly over the cheeses and fruit. Add fresh mint or basil leaves tucked in between for color and aroma.
  4. Using a spoon, drizzle honey generously over the cheese and fruit. The honey should form a thin, shiny layer that invites you to dig in right away.
  5. Place crackers or sliced baguette along the edges of the board or in a separate basket to prevent sogginess and keep the presentation neat.

Notes

Use room-temperature cheese for best flavor and texture. Drizzle honey last to avoid soggy crackers. Store fruit and cheese separately if preparing ahead. Toast nuts in a dry pan for extra flavor. For gluten-free, use rice crackers or veggie chips instead of regular crackers.
