A quick and easy no-cook charcuterie box featuring the sweet juiciness of ripe melon paired with delicate salty prosciutto, perfect for solo summer snacking or a light, refreshing beach treat.

  • 2 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
  • ½ cup diced cantaloupe or honeydew melon
  • About 10 marinated Kalamata or Castelvetrano olives
  • 810 sturdy crackers or crostini
  • Fresh basil or mint leaves (optional)
  • Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling (optional)
  • Lemon zest or balsamic glaze for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut about ½ cup of ripe cantaloupe or honeydew into bite-sized cubes.
  2. If prosciutto isn’t pre-sliced, slice 2 ounces into thin strips or bite-sized pieces.
  3. Arrange the melon cubes on one side of your container.
  4. Neatly fold or roll prosciutto slices beside the melon.
  5. Place about 10 marinated olives in a small section or mini cup within your container.
  6. Arrange 8-10 sturdy crackers or crostini in a separate compartment.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle fresh basil or mint leaves over the melon or prosciutto.
  8. Optionally, drizzle a tiny bit of olive oil or balsamic glaze right before eating.

Notes

Keep melon and prosciutto chilled until just before eating to prevent soggy crackers. Assemble the box right before eating for best texture. Swap ingredients to suit dietary needs or preferences.
