These Easy Mozzarella Mummy Pizza Bites are quick, fun, and delicious mini pizzas wrapped in crescent dough, perfect for Halloween parties or a festive snack before trick-or-treating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough onto a cutting board. If using triangle version, press the perforated seams together to create one solid sheet.
  3. Cut the dough into strips: slice lengthwise into 6 strips (about 1 inch wide), then cut each strip in half crosswise to get 12 shorter strips.
  4. Cut each mozzarella stick in half crosswise to get 12 pieces (about 2 inches each).
  5. Wrap one dough strip around each cheese piece, leaving a small gap in the middle for the eyes. Overlap slightly but don’t wrap too tightly.
  6. Place wrapped cheese pieces on the baking sheet, seam side down, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Press two pepperoni slices gently into the exposed cheese area for eyes.
  8. Brush the dough with melted butter (optional) and sprinkle with garlic powder (optional).
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until dough is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool for 2-3 minutes on the baking sheet before serving.
  11. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Keep cheese sticks cold for easier wrapping. Don’t overstuff the dough. Rotate baking sheet halfway through for even browning. For best results, serve fresh from the oven. Can be assembled up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerated unbaked.
