These buttery, golden turkey sliders with a tangy-sweet cranberry aioli are the ultimate crowd-pleaser for Friendsgiving, game day, or any gathering. Ready in under 30 minutes, they use simple ingredients and are perfect for using up leftover turkey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian sweet rolls recommended)
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or thinly sliced
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Make the cranberry aioli: In a small bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the rolls: Without separating them, slice the entire pack of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Spread about half of the cranberry aioli onto the bottom half of the rolls.
  5. Layer the shredded turkey evenly over the aioli.
  6. Lay the provolone slices over the turkey.
  7. Spread the remaining aioli on the cut side of the top half of the rolls. Place the top half on the cheese, aioli-side down. Press down gently.
  8. Make the butter wash: In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-8 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing along the seams of the rolls. Serve warm.

Notes

Don’t overbake. Use room temperature turkey for even heating. Press down gently after baking to help sliders hold together. Double the aioli for extra dipping. Toast the bottom rolls first to prevent sogginess if making ahead. For freezing, assemble without baking, wrap tightly, and freeze for up to 2 months. Bake from frozen at 350°F for 25-30 minutes covered, then 5-8 minutes uncovered.
