These crispy, savory protein bites combine the bold flavor of everything bagel seasoning with a creamy, cheesy interior for a quick and addictive snack.

  • 1 cup (240g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups (150g) cooked chicken breast, finely shredded
  • ½ cup (50g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • ¾ cup (75g) almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil or avocado oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded chicken. Mash and blend until creamy and even.
  3. Add shredded mozzarella, egg, almond flour, everything bagel seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir gently until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small, 1-inch diameter bite-sized balls, about 20 to 24 bites.
  5. Place the balls evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each lightly with olive oil or avocado oil.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with creamy dips like ranch or mustard sauce.

Notes

If bites feel too wet, add a tablespoon more almond flour. If dry, add a splash of milk or an extra egg white. Brush oil lightly to get a crispy crust without greasiness. Flip halfway through baking for even browning. Do not overbake to avoid dryness.
