Quick and easy cinnamon roll bites made in the air fryer, crispy on the outside and gooey inside, perfect for a fast sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can pre-made cinnamon rolls with icing (e.g., Pillsbury)
  • Cooking spray or melted butter (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Icing or glaze from the cinnamon roll can or homemade glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up for about 3 minutes.
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into bite-sized pieces, roughly 1 to 1.5 inches wide.
  3. Optional: In a mixing bowl, lightly toss the cinnamon roll bites with melted butter or cooking spray and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mix.
  4. Arrange the bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding. Cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 7-9 minutes. About halfway through (around 4 minutes), shake the basket or use tongs to flip the bites for even crisping.
  6. Check for doneness; bites should be golden and crispy outside, soft and gooey inside. Add 1-2 more minutes if needed, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  7. Remove bites and let cool for 1-2 minutes. Drizzle with icing or glaze before serving.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even crisping. Preheat the air fryer for best results. Watch closely to prevent cinnamon sugar from burning. For vegan or gluten-free options, use appropriate cinnamon rolls and adjust cooking times as needed. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 320°F for 3 minutes to restore crispiness.
