Creamy Secret Menu Butterbeer Frappuccino - featured image

A rich, buttery, and creamy frappuccino inspired by the wizarding world Butterbeer, blending butterscotch and vanilla flavors for a cozy, nostalgic treat that’s quick and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons butterscotch syrup (recommend Ghirardelli)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (Torani brand recommended)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk or dairy-free alternative like oat or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream (optional but highly recommended)
  • 1 1/2 cups (1012 cubes) ice cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon butter extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream for topping (homemade or store-bought)
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: Measure out 3 tablespoons of butterscotch syrup, 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup, 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk, 1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream, 1/4 teaspoon butter extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Into your blender, add butterscotch syrup, vanilla syrup, milk, heavy cream, butter extract, and salt.
  3. Add ice: Toss in about 1 1/2 cups (10-12 cubes) of ice for a thick, frosty texture without watering down.
  4. Blend on high for about 30-45 seconds until smooth and frothy, thick but drinkable.
  5. Check consistency: If too thick, add a splash more milk and pulse again; if too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend briefly.
  6. Pour into tall glasses, leaving space for topping.
  7. Top with whipped cream and drizzle caramel sauce if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Use fresh, solid ice cubes for best texture. Adjust syrup sweetness to taste. Chill glasses before serving for extra frosty experience. For vegan version, substitute dairy with plant-based milks and dairy-free whipped topping. Adding a shot of espresso creates a Butterbeer Latte Frappuccino. Avoid over-blending to prevent warming the drink.
